Job Description Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer for Software Development, MBE / MBSE Integration. The role reports to the Integrated Simulation and Modeling & Systems Engineering Tools Manager and works with the ISM and SE Tools Team on Model Based Engineering, Specifications, Solutions, Architecture, and software development for applications across BCA Programs. Position Responsibilities Lead software development activities through standards for Aircraft Level Systems Development across several programs. Drive continual improvement in solutions sets for development and derivative programs. Requirements • This position is 100% onsite at the São José dos Campos office.• Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required) Existing rights to work in Brazil. Bachelor's degree in engineering. Must be registered or eligible to register with the Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia (CREA). Proficient verbal and written English. In-depth experience with Software Development Integration (Aircraft Level Systems and Tools). Experience with Model-based Engineering (Matlab/Simulink). Proficiency in coding (C, C++, Python, Java, LabVIEW, etc.). Experience with Virtual System Integration, Lab Development, Software-in-the-loop, Hardware-in-the-loop, and Data Acquisition Systems. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in engineering. Experience applying systems engineering principles. Experience with System Test Engineering. Familiarity with ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178B/C, Part‑60. Agile methodology experience. Model-based systems engineering applications and toolsets. Additional Information This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of the U.S. based payroll. This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
