We're currently seeking a Site Contracts Negotiator II to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Site Contracts Negotiator at ICON, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful negotiation and ongoing management of clinical trial agreements and related documents with study sites. Your expertise will help facilitate timely site start-up, maintain regulatory compliance, and protect ICON’s interests—contributing directly to the smooth execution of global clinical trials.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize clinical trial agreements, complex amendments, and ancillary agreements with study sites, ensuring alignment with client and ICON policies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with study sites and internal teams, providing transparency and collaboration throughout contract lifecycles.
  • Track the progress of site contracts and related documents using ICON and client systems, providing updates to support project timelines.
  • Proactively identify contractual risks and issues, raise them promptly, and recommend mitigation strategies to meet study milestones.
  • Ensure all contractual documents are accurately filed in accordance with departmental, ICON, and client requirements to support audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support timely site activation and study start-up.
  • Ensure contracts meet department, client, and regulatory standards while completing all required training and adhering to SOPs for compliance.
  • Attend and contribute to study team project calls as necessary, providing contract expertise and updates.
Your profile
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating and managing clinical trial agreements within a global or regional clinical research environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial contract terminology, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with sites and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem solver who can identify risks early and work collaboratively on mitigation plans.
  • Familiarity with ICON and client contract management systems and tools is preferred.
  • Commitment to compliance with SOPs, GCP guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute positively to team goals.
