Our client is an environmental solutions company expanding its operations in Brazil. They are currently looking for a General Manager who will lead and oversee all aspects of the business, driving growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence. This role involves strategic decision-making to enhance the company’s presence in Brazil while adhering to local regulations and delivering high-quality environmental consulting services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, expanding market share.
  • Identify new business development opportunities and work to expand the client base aligning with business goals.
  • Oversee the P&L statement, ensuring financial health and stability by carefully managing budgets
  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Act as the company’s representative at industry forums, conferences, and events
  • Travel as needed to engage with clients and oversee operational activities


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
  • Proven track record in operations and sales, with experience in the environmental or related industries preferred.
  • Experience serving clients within the pulp & paper, chemicals, and/or waste management sectors.
  • Experience managing P&L in entrepreneurial settings.
  • Strong background leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • High-energy, adaptable, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced level of English is desirable.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
