Localization Specialist

Localization Specialist (Portuguese speaker) at Payoneer. Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hybrid, Full-time.

We are seeking a highly motivated Localization Specialist with a talent for localizing content for Portuguese to improve our customer experience in Brazil by adjusting flows, campaigns, and content in all forms from our Buenos Aires office. You should be a fast learner who can grasp the intricacies of a complex business, connect with other teams, manage multiple projects, and build a strategy to implement our content approach in Brazil through cross-regional projects.

• Coordinate translation projects for a wide range of assets including emails, our web and mobile applications, website, blog, legal documents, and more.
• Identify opportunities within existing flows to improve user experience and content quality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with ownership to deliver results and meet deadlines.
• Align with our Content Specialist and central stakeholders on delivery, quality, and goals for each project according to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style.
• Serve as the link between local stakeholders from multiple teams in the region and central functions.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, ability to multi-task, and excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
• BA in business administration, industrial engineering, economics, marketing, or related field.
• Project management skills with high level of organization and ability to hit deadlines.
• Content writing experience.
• 4+ years of experience in translation and localization roles.
• Proactive doer who can work with both local and remote/global teams and maintain strong relations with colleagues and customers in other locations.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
