These critical roles will lead engineering teams developing the hardware and software for these systems, configuring the networks, integrating across numerous airplane systems.The position includes responsibility for developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals for the team, and acquiring financial and technical resources. This role includes a significant level of mentoring, developing, and motivating direct reports.**Position Responsibilities:**• Manage a team of Engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration and certification including overall quality and schedule performance. • Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects. • Partner closely with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution. • Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project and daily operating requirements. • Manages employees performing engineering and technical tasks in the areas of the BCA Airplane Systems engineering. • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.• Acquires resources for projects and processes, including budget and staffing.• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. • Provides oversight and approval of approaches to compliance with regulatory requirements and certification processes. • Leads and fosters process improvements. • Develops and maintains a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, active listening and servant leadership to manage, develop, and motivate employees.**This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
