Role Summary

As a Software Developer at Woodgrove, you will help solve real-life challenges that our industry has been facing for decades. The Software developer utilizes their strong knowledge and experience in WPF, .Net core, and C# in their daily tasks. We use computer vision, lidar, machine learning, and expert systems to optimize processes and bring it all together with a web-based reporting and monitoring toolset. The Software Developer is responsible for delivering the full-stack application with suitable UX, to achieve the requirements. In addition, you will work with the development team to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Delivering the full-stack application with suitable UX, to achieve the requirements.
  2. Cooperating with the team in the process of building the RESTful reporting API.
  3. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  4. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
  5. Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance with Agile Methodology.
  6. Design test procedures, create test data, and automate testing.
  7. Prepare technical documentation of development modules to be used as part of product release documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Advanced English proficiency.
  2. Education: Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of C# and Angular JS 1.6+, ReactJS (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
  4. Proficient with .Net Core Web API framework.
  5. Experience with Machine Learning modeling would be advantageous.
  6. Experience with SQL query language and database design.
  7. Experience with web user interface standards and development.
  8. Knowledge of source controls and automation in Git repositories, CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
  9. Knowledge of modern C++ will be an asset.
  10. Familiar with various design and architectural patterns like MVC and N-Layer.
  11. Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
  12. Knowledge of image processing and machine learning would be an asset.
  13. Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
  14. Experience with IoT solutions would be an asset.
