Job Summary The Senior Frontend UI Developer is responsible for designing and implementing secure, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using ASP.NET Core MVC and Razor Pages. This role ensures seamless integration with the company’s DDD-based Onion Architecture while adhering to enterprise standards for security, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Razor Views, View Components, and Partials for high-traffic, server-rendered applications. Implement post-back (POST-Redirect-GET) workflows for reliable form handling. Collaborate with backend teams to integrate OpenAPI-defined services via strongly typed façade layers. Ensure consistent branding, accessibility, and responsiveness using Tailwind CSS or equivalent frameworks. Enhance user experience with minimal progressive enhancements like HTMX or lightweight JavaScript. Maintain clean architecture by keeping the presentation layer dependent only on domain abstractions. Test thoroughly through unit, integration, and end-to-end tests covering key user flows. Contribute to shared UI libraries and reusable component patterns. Participate actively in sprints, code reviews, and releases within an Agile/Kanban process using Azure DevOps. Qualifications and Job Requirements 8 years of professional web development experience, including at least 5 years working with ASP.NET Core MVC/Razor. Strong understanding of server-side rendering, HTTP lifecycle, and form security best practices (antiforgery tokens, validation, and POST-Redirect-GET pattern). Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts and understanding of how the presentation layer fits into Onion or Hexagonal architectures. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern responsive design principles (experience with Tailwind CSS preferred). Basic knowledge of HTMX, Alpine.js, or similar lightweight front-end enhancement libraries. Experience working with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) within Agile or Kanban environments. Strong testing discipline using xUnit, MSTest, or Playwright. Excellent collaboration skills, with strong attention to architectural consistency, code quality, and user experience.
