Overview

PagoNxt Payments, Santander Group's global payments platform, is seeking a Mid-Level Back-End Developer to join our IT team. PagoNxt Payments provides tailored financial infrastructure for companies, banks, and fintechs with operations in more than 10 countries. We combine the agility of a fintech with the reliability of a global bank, and we focus on secure, flexible, data-driven technology to simplify payments and empower businesses.

We operate on a cloud-native architecture designed to scale for global organizations and support international transactions, FX, multi-currency accounts, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Development and maintenance of systems, contributing as an engineer directing the team in best software construction practices on the market.
What we're looking for
  • Availability to work in a hybrid format in Santo Amaro/SP
  • Java, creation of microservices, frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus), serverless
  • Architecture and orchestration of microservices
  • Cloud
  • Integration with SOAP and REST services
  • Messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of relational databases or NoSQL
  • Experience in systems development using agile methodologies
Nice to have / Extra points
  • Big Data
  • Collaborative tools (Jira and Confluence)
  • Certifications (Java, Cloud, Database)
  • Ability to communicate in other languages (Spanish and/or English)
  • ISO20022
  • DevSecOps (CI with Maven/Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar, Fortify, Artifactory)
  • Background in Systems or Computing Engineering, Maths, Physics, Economics, Business Administration or similar
