About the Position: The Project Finance and M&A Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth across LATAM by performing advanced financial analysis, developing robust financial models, and assisting in the structuring and execution of complex transactions. Working closely with the Project Finance and M&A team, this role provides analytical, strategic, and execution support throughout the transaction lifecycle — from origination and due diligence to closing and portfolio management. Responsibilities: Business Acumen and Financial Literacy - Demonstrates an understanding of relevant financial metrics and concepts. Resource Planning - Plans for various possible timelines and contingencies for completing assigned work. Collaborative - Displays positive demeanor in interactions with others both on the team and cross-functionally. Project Structuring & Execution – Understands the legal, technical, and financial components of project finance structures; effectively contributes to transaction execution from term sheet to financial close. Communication & Influence – Clearly articulates financial insights and recommendations; influences decision-making through well-reasoned analysis. Results Orientation – Drives deliverables to completion with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and value creation. Adaptability & Learning Agility – Quickly assimilates new information, adjusts to changing deal dynamics, and continuously seeks to enhance technical and market knowledge. Leadership & Mentoring – Provides guidance to junior members, reviews work outputs, and helps raise the overall quality of the team’s deliverables. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in project finance, M&A, or a similar role. Proficiency in financial modeling tools (Excel, VBA). Experience in cross-border transactions within LATAM markets. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex workstreams. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical results to financial stakeholders.
