Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Remote First, Java/Kotlin) – remote contractor, Brazil or across Latin America. We're looking for two Senior Full Stack Java Engineers to join our team as remote contractors. We're seeking experienced engineers based in Brazil or across Latin America who want to join a US engineering team building and maintaining enterprise software delivering amazing customer experiences.

In this role, you will own, maintain, and evolve an extremely valuable area of our software systems written in Java using classic spring. You will work with other engineers, product managers, designers, and leaders as part of our world class software engineering team.

We're a remote-first, results-driven team that values impact over hours. Fridays are kept flexible to wrap up anything outstanding, and success in this role is measured by the results you deliver and the impact you create—not by time spent online.

About The Role

We're looking for two Senior Full Stack Java Engineers to join our team as remote contractors. We're seeking experienced engineers based in Brazil or across Latin America who want to join a US engineering team building and maintaining enterprise software delivering amazing customer experiences. Responsibilities
  • Own, maintain, and evolve an area of our software systems written in Java using classic spring.
  • Work with other engineers, product managers, designers, and leaders as part of the software engineering team.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience building software or web applications with object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • Willing to work on web applications on both the front- and back-end.
  • Understand how to build solutions with an agile approach; collaborate with Product Managers and Designers; use real-time feedback to solve problems iteratively.
  • Interested in using tests to verify proper functionality.
  • Do not rely upon testers to ensure your code works correctly.
  • Fluent in English (English is our company's official language).
  • Java

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
