Brand & Marketing Designer (Part-Time / Fractional) We are building a differentiated brand in a brutally competitive AI/SaaS market. This is not a “make it pretty” gig. We want a designer with exceptional taste, strong opinions, and the instincts to ship visuals that move metrics. About The Opportunity Remote-first, part‑time freelance (5–20 h/week) with a clear path to full‑time within 12 months based on impact. Compensation set based on agreed hours/work scope. Reports to the Founder/Marketing/Head of Design. What You’ll Do Partner with Growth, Product, Marketing, and Founders to own day‑to‑day marketing design: ad creatives, product marketing animations, landing pages, websites, email visuals, partner assets. Evolve and guard our brand system (typography, colour, illustration, motion, component libraries) across web and product‑adjacent surfaces. Turn complex AI features into clear, conversion‑ready visuals (diagrams, product mockups, short motion snippets). Rapidly prototype A/B test variants; ship multiple creative angles per week. Build reusable templates for speed (social sets, launch kits, webinar packs, sales one‑pagers). Collaborate on campaign concepts end‑to‑end—insight, mood‑board, concept, production, iteration. Maintain a tidy Figma workspace (components, tokens, documentation) so others can self‑serve. What Success Looks Like Asset turnaround under 48 h for priority requests; weekly creative batch drops. Coherent brand system used across marketing and sales with near‑zero re‑work. Thought‑leadership as a bold brand within AI SaaS, enhancing our designs. Who You Are 6+ years hands‑on design experience in SaaS/AI (agency or in‑house) with deep knowledge of category patterns. Exceptional taste: refined typography, layout discipline, restraint where it matters, edge where it counts. Deep interest in current design trends in tech/SaaS/AI; references at hand. Not afraid to be bold; can defend strong creative while staying coachable. Fast‑paced, passionate, easy to work with. Low‑ego collaborator who communicates crisply. Proficiency in Figma and WordPress/Elementor; Adobe Illustrator as needed. Bonus: light motion experience (After Effects or Figma video exports). Bonus Points 2–4+ years in marketing/advertising environments (performance creative, concepting, storytelling). Experience producing quick micro‑motion (feature reveals, UI walkthroughs, ad loops). Understanding of performance marketing basics (hook hierarchy, thumb‑stop, offer framing, mobile‑first). Experience building componentised design systems for marketing. Portfolio Requirements 6–10 pieces relevant to SaaS/AI marketing (ads, LPs, campaign sets, brand work). For 3 highlights, add 2–3 lines on goal, role, outcome (metrics if possible).
