At Turing, we're accelerating AI systems advancement and deployment. We work with leading labs to advance model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge.

We build real-world AI systems solving mission-critical priorities for companies. As part of our Common Lives Project , we invite electricians to participate in a research initiative.

Participants will wear head-mounted cameras during collaborative practice or recording sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Wear a camera for 5 separate days within a 2-week window.
  • Record at least 7 hours per day with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera.
  • At the end of each day:
  • Upload footage to a secure platform.
  • Review short clips.
  • Choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.

Requirements:

  • No children (under 18) present or visiting during the recording period.
  • All adults must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
  • Must live in a private apartment or indoor work environment.
  • All household members must agree to appear in the footage.

Participant Requirements:

  • Must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles.
  • Participants sharing the same workplace or household should both have a camera mounted.
  • Preferably engaged in manual or creative work.
  • Must be self-employed or have employer consent.
  • Able to use a computer for basic tasks like reviewing and uploading video clips.

Technical Requirements:

  • Must have access to a computer and internet connection.
  • Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips.
  • Camera and accessories will be provided.
