**POSITION OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE**
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Represents Sensitech at local and global cargo theft related security conferences.
- Acts as liaison with State and Federal Police Commanders as well as client Security Directors/Managers and fosters ongoing dialogue regarding security matters.
- Work with insurance companies, clients, public security agencies, security forums, associationsand chambers, among others to obtain data related to cargo theft.
- Promote benchmarks with market companies related to cargo theft and security.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of security data received from external sources, as well as appropriate publishing in accordance with the company policies.
- Supports the sales team and professional services team in client engagement opportunities such as business reviews and potential sales.
- Consolidate a detailed information data base about cargo thefts in general, that will feed our business strategies, and the assisting of public authorities.
- Ensure that the preliminary report are sent timely, completed and conclusive to Sensitech customers, and work on their improvement, promoting change according to market needs.
- Promote research and market studies related to a security best practices. Also, an identification and analysis of new security technologies in the market.
- Develops training materials regarding intelligence and cargo theft risks for internal and external customers.
- Responsible for developing and conducting risk assessment audits as required for new and current customers.
- Drive and organize internal investigations.
- Develop service providers for external investigations; Acting as focal point in these cases.
- Conduct PGR and compliance audits with the Command and Control Center (C3) and with Sensitech clients.
- Maintain a workforce of internally certified C3 personnel, in an effort to significantly reduce errors and omissions in the monitoring process.
- Promote bullets and briefings oftentimes with the Command and Control Center (C3), seeking to increase the level of assertiveness to avoid cargo thefts.
- Create a dynamic matrix of the routes risk level, identify hotspot and create geographic profiles, supplying the Command and Control Center (C3), operations and sales with the information.
- Promote studies of security prospective scenario.
- Interfaces with USA Intelligence group regarding information or statistics related to cargo theft in Brasil.
- Coordinates recovery response and incident management to address threats towards client's cargo as well as follow-up reporting and communication.
- Develops and publishes intercompany security bulletins as required.
- Develops process and procedures related to the organizations current security protocols.
**MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Subject matter expert regarding cargo security intelligence
- Coordination of the Emergency Response Procedure
- Emergency Response Incident Reporting
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- B.S. in Business Administration, lawyer, Industrial Engineering or Criminal Justice.
- 3-5+ years of experience in strategy of security
- Relationship with Federal, State and Municipal Authorities
- Previous experience conducting complex investigation
- Must be fluent in English and/or Spanish
- Previous experience operating in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong MS Office Suite experience including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Highly proficient at navigating a web interface
- Ability to work well as part of a team in an ever-changing environment
- Experience in cargo theft, supply chain visibility, route risk analysis, theft prevention highly desired
- Detailed knowledge of Brasil security challenges i.e. cargo theft and organized crime preferred
