Key Role: Data Warehouse Specialist The role involves a hands-on approach to designing and implementing data solutions with expertise in Databricks (DBX) and AWS-native data services. Design, deploy and optimize a Databricks Lakehouse instance tailored to product-level data needs. Implement robust data ingestion pipelines using Spark (PySpark/Scala) and Delta Lake for efficient data processing. Integrate AWS-native services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda) with Databricks for performance enhancement and scalability. Develop and maintain data models, optimize query performance and establish warehouse governance best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows, enhance productivity and improve overall efficiency. Maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code principles. Monitor data jobs, resolve performance bottlenecks or failures across environments and ensure smooth data operations.
