**Operational Risk & Controls Manager**
This Operational Risk & Control Manager position has an complex level of responsibility for ensuring controls related matters are understood and disseminated throughout Brazil TTS Client Operations employees and related stakeholders (regional and global teams).
Deals with most problems independently, solving complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of Citi policies, standards, procedures and good practices applied/shared by regional teams.
Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the institutional objectives related to Risk & Controls matters.
Applies analytical thinking and knowledge supporting units in a pro-active approach, raising concerns and addressing them accordingly. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.
Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader units impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of Brazil TTS Client Operations Risk & Controls matters.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for ensuring that all of the units activities follow the necessary rules and regulations, and that the units comply with policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for tracking, with unit members, all risks & controls related matters.
- Responsible for acting as focal point (Subject Matter Expert - SME) of Citi policies such as Data Management, Continuity of Business and Manager Control Assessment.
- Responsible for following established guidelines, identifying and resolving problems.
- Expected to use independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to manager and/or other experts.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and redesign, and to form a basic understanding of the specific rules and requirements to support units.
**Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Internal Controls and Compliance related activities
- Knowledge of products and services associated with TTS Client Operations routines (such as Cash and Trade) is considered a differential
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- English (speaking and writing) is required for this position.
- Spanish (speaking and writing) is differential.

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
