Lean Promotion Officer

We are looking for a new colleague in our Production Friction Materials Group team for our site in Olvega.

What you can look forward to as Lean Promotion Officer:

  • Process analysis and optimization – finding bottlenecks and weak points in production process. Analyze existing workflows and eliminate waste with help of LEAN Tools.
  • Implementation of LEAN culture – implementing and empowering LEAN principles. Engage with employees and challenge LEAN initiative.
  • Continuous Improvement – drive, monitor and ensure improvement in areas of focus. Analyze the results of activities and workshops, create success stories and identify areas for further optimization.
  • Conducting Trainings/Workshops – provide training and workshops of Lean principles. Be a coach. Promote LEAN thinking.
  • Networking – be part of worldwide network of specialist, where you can learn or advise. Collaborate with cross-functional Teams, coordinate improvements, share best practices.

Your profile as Lean Promotion Officer:

  • Knowledge of LEAN Tools (5S, VSM, Kaizen, TPS,…) and familiar with manufacturing principles, methodologies, tools and KPI’s.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills/attitude.
  • Ability/Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • English language competency spoken/written.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and/or Manufacturing Engineering role within the automotive industry.
