About the role We are working with the world's largest technology companies on the next generation of generative AI and large language models (LLMs). We are seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert with exceptional writing and analytical skills to join our AI/ML data team. Key Responsibilities Create high-quality, accurate, and pedagogically sound physics content (conceptual explanations, problem sets, theoretical summaries, research abstracts). Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to review and refine physics-related model outputs, identify conceptual gaps, and build datasets across physics domains. Provide feedback to improve LLM performance in reasoning, solving, and communicating physics content. Ensure consistency, depth, and scientific accuracy across all content and contribute to content standards and annotation guidelines. Qualifications Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline (MS with exceptional experience may be considered). Strong background in theoretical and/or applied physics. Excellent technical and academic writing skills. Experience in teaching, curriculum design, academic publishing, or textbook writing. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in LaTeX, Markdown, or similar scientific documentation tools. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams with engineers, linguists, and data scientists.
