**Position overview**:
The essential purpose of the function is accounting/finance support to our business in EMEA region. Dealing with various general accounting activities, reconciliation of GL accounts and actively taking participation in creation of relevant reports, respecting the local GAAP requirements and existing company procedures.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Posting of bank statements for EMEA region and reconciliation with the bank balances.
- Performing various general accounting and intercompany activities.
- Preparing and booking journal entries into SAP, including various accruals.
- Posting of IC loan and interest including their reconciliation with other intercompany partners and resolving potential differences.
- Performing month end closing activities - various MEC postings, coordination between different internal departments ensuring all transactions are posted within global timeline.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts in accordance with corporate policy; Preparing monthly SOX cash controls.
- Analyzing data for processes in scope and communicating necessary adjustment.
- Participation in audit preparation and support in area of responsibility.
- Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Researching short payments, overpayments, credits and aging payables.
- Active participation in different projects and new implementations related to cash and treasury activities or improvements of existing processes.
**What are we looking for?**
- University degree with a focus on Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in finance or accounting area in an international environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, other languages are advantage.
- Preferable experience in SAP.
- PC skills: MS Office Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
- Analytical and detail oriented person, with the focus on achieving results.
- Capability of working in dynamic environment, communicating with various stakeholders while delivering required goals.
