Description and Requirements

The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process, ensuring the company acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Senior Procurement Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and develop cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to source high-quality goods and services.
  • Keep exploring EMS suppliers’ capabilities in LATAM and update EMS landscape periodically. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with EMS suppliers.
  • Manage NDA, RFI, RFP and RFQ activities with EMS suppliers.
  • Lead contract negotiations with EMS suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Support on Contract preparation and Addendums, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation to meet dynamic business requirements.
  • Manage EMS supplier related routine activities and performance and ensure alignment with contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage EMS suppliers related routine activities and cross functional collaboration.
  • Keep track of local incentive policies, each EMS supplier eligibility, criteria for each product etc.
  • Work with cross functional teams on day-to-day basis to monitor EMS supplier deliverables.
  • Shortlist the most potential supplier based on saving estimation data, factory setup; Collaborate with SQE, PE and R&D for Quality/ Process Audit.
  • Preparing business case & decks etc. as per applicable duty and freight charges and chase savings.
  • Support on verification of various cost elements in MVA and true up process.
  • Supplier quarter evaluation in collaboration of cross functional team as per our demand requirement.
  • New supplier contract and price set up in system. Quarterly price negotiations, in collaboration with Global Commodities team.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers to execute Tier 2 parts localization strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with ethical sourcing standards and sustainability practices.
  • Track and report key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  • Communicate procurement strategies and progress with senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior procurement team members.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (any), Computer Science, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • English (required); Spanish is a plus.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.
  • Strong experience in RFI / RFP / RFQ processes, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, and risk management.
  • MS Office package; Power BI reports (coding preferred).
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills to mentor junior staff and manage procurement teams.
  • Experience with sustainable procurement practices.
