Cloud Data Engineer

A leading technology company seeks a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain cloud applications and related services on Microsoft Azure.

  • Design, develop, automate, and support complex data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Create and enhance data solutions for seamless delivery of data and collect, parse, manage, and analyze large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop metadata-driven data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-based data warehouses and lakes using Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and data lakes/warehouses in a cloud environment, preferably Azure.
  • Strong understanding of core concepts: Azure data storage, Azure compute, data connections, APIs, Data Bricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Azure Synapse on cloud.
  • Good knowledge of ETL design/development and SQL – Joins/co-related queries/sub-queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, view.
