Responsibilities
  • Oversee all post-award administration duties for assigned departments, including contract and grant processing, monitoring, and closure
  • Advise departments on grant management, financial controls, and policies for effective operation of externally funded research
  • Serve as a liaison for stakeholders in grants, including other offices and third-party partners
  • Prepare financial documents and reports for awarded funds, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of grants
  • Develop best management practices and tools for tracking post-award documentation deadlines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of funding policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Expertise in Uniform Guidance and grant policies specific to the employer
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial reporting and budget management within a higher education or research environment
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur and SIMBA systems for financial processing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple grants and compliance requirements effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to prepare grant projections and financial documents
