Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer

Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Electrical Power Systems team Manager of Boeing Brazil, working out of the São Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office. The Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer will work with the global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting, optics, and proximity sensing.
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware designs, and interface specifications.
- Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solve problems concerning and provide other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
This position will require occasional national and/or international travel. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Some experience with Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent in both written and verbal English.
- Must be legally able to work in Brazil.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering, with registration at Regional Council of Engineering in Brazil (CREA).
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Experience with Product Development life cycle and applicable regulations.
- Knowledge in Safety Assessment standards.
- Some experience with supplier environmental qualification standards.
- Familiar with Agile methodology.
