Warehouse Layout Optimization Specialist Job Description: Join a dynamic team as we push the boundaries of warehouse layout design and optimization. Your expertise in industrial engineering will help us create efficient picking, packing, and shipping areas that reduce travel time and improve ergonomics. Key Responsibilities: Design warehouse layouts for new facilities and redesign existing ones to maximize space utilization. Analyze inbound, put-away, picking, and outbound processes to optimize material flow and work areas. Conduct detailed time studies and work sampling to establish standard operating times. Develop cost-benefit models for layout changes, automation investments, and process improvements. Support new warehouse start-ups, process changes, and layout integrations by working closely with operations, safety, IT, and automation teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in warehouse IE, layout design, or process improvement. Familiarity with IE tools such as time studies, motion studies, and capacity balancing. Proficient in AutoCAD/Visio for layout design and Excel/Power BI for data analysis and reporting. Strong numerical analysis and ROI modeling skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Good command of spoken and written English.
