ECOMMERCE MANAGER
OverviewOur mission is to deliver exceptional value and service at an accessible price, driving client success through strategic media buying, optimization, and data-driven forecasting. As an Ecommerce Manager at Common Thread Collective (CTC), you will lead the development of accurate, insight-driven forecasts and ensure that strategies are executed to transform projections into scalable growth for clients. You will communicate performance, strategy adjustments, and key optimizations with clients transparently, reinforcing CTC as a strategic partner in media acquisition and growth planning.
You will set the benchmark for performance marketing, advocating for best-in-class strategies and tools to drive outstanding results. You will operate with efficiency, scalability, and a results-focused mindset, embracing challenges and owning outcomes.
Responsibilities- Drive client success through strategic media buying, precision optimization, and data-driven forecasting.
- Develop accurate Growth Maps and Prophet System-based forecasts; turn projections into tangible, scalable client growth.
- Maintain proactive, clear, and transparent client communications about performance, strategy changes, and optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Google Strategy, Creative Strategy, Email Strategy) to align on growth plans and data integrity.
- Monitor campaigns, adjust budgets and strategies to maximize daily and projected targets; implement tests to beat prior performance.
- Lead the execution of CTC's methodologies, tools, and best practices across client accounts.
- Hold yourself and the team to high standards of quality, accuracy (within defined deltas), and timely delivery.
- High accuracy in forecasting (within a 5% delta) and consistent achievement of daily/projected targets.
- Strong client satisfaction with transparent reporting and strategic guidance.
- Effective collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to improve processes and outcomes.
- Autodidact mindset: curiosity, rapid self-learning, and proactive self-direction.
- Exceptional communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders; fluency in English.
- Strong data analysis capabilities; comfortable with data tools and spreadsheets; willingness to advance skills on the job.
- Experience in e-commerce or growth roles involving media buying, data analysis, or operations; ability to contribute to strategy and growth planning.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and ownership of outcomes without relying on constant oversight.
- Adaptability to changing conditions and a track record of delivering results under pressure.
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling and regular 1:1 feedback sessions; autonomous and accountable work environment.
- Salary progression: Month 1 $2,000; Month 2 $4,000; Month 3 average $7,000; Year 1: $64,000–$76,000; Year 2: $100,000–$120,000. Amounts may vary based on client load and performance.
- Growth, transparency, and fairness in career development with defined progression paths and weekly performance dashboards.
Note: This role is client-facing and involves direct collaboration with stakeholders to drive growth outcomes.
