Overview
We\'re looking for a Controller who plays a central role in managing the integrity of financial operations and ensuring rigorous control over accounting practices at the local and regional level. This position involves meticulous oversight, in-depth analysis, and accurate presentation of financial activities, with a strong emphasis on compliance with company standards and accounting regulations. The Controller is responsible for implementing global policies, supporting regional and local financial controls, and driving continuous improvements in the quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Implement and monitor compliance with global and local accounting standards and financial controls.
- Provide expert technical analysis and advice to key stakeholders, referring to regional and group finance as necessary.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely availability of documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Corporate Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is a differential).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
