Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer with 5+ years of experience to develop scalable, event-driven backend systems. This role focuses on Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django) within a microservice architecture and event-driven environments. The position is remote and part of a fast-paced healthcare-focused team at BairesDev.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI (or Flask/Django).
  • Design and implement event-driven systems and microservice-based architectures.
  • Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy and manage backend applications efficiently.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline deployment processes.
  • Process and analyze large datasets to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain high standards for code quality and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions.
  • Contribute to system scalability and architecture decisions for long-term maintainability.
Qualifications
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in backend software development with Python.
  • Strong expertise in FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of Docker and containerized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and microservice architecture.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Nice-to-Have (Trainable)
  • Familiarity with healthcare technologies (Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, glucose monitors).
  • Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience managing, processing, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
