Position Overview:

We are looking for highly skilled Structural Engineers with at least two years of remote experience working for a US company. As a part of our exclusive network, you will have the opportunity to be presented to leading engineering firms and projects in need of your expertise. This is not a direct hire for Uptalent.io but an opportunity to join our vetted network of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components and systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software
  • Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success
  • Perform calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs
  • Review and approve structural shop drawings and submittals
  • Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Success in This Role:

Success as a Remote Structural Engineer in our network will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver high-quality engineering solutions, maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients and project teams, and demonstrate your technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
  • At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Enelcarc, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro)
  • Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
