We are seeking a talented Database Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our database engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Database-as-a-Service solutions for MS SQL using .NET, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database engineering and automation, with experience in AWS Cloud technologies and container technologies. You will also possess deep expertise in MS SQL administration, including HA, backup/restore, security, and performance tuning.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and developing Database-as-a-Service solutions for MS SQL using .NET, PowerShell, Python, and other automation tools.
  • Leveraging cutting-edge AWS Cloud technologies to build and innovate database infrastructure.
  • Performing performance analysis and tuning for MS SQL environments.
  • Automating and streamlining database management processes.
  • Conducting POC analysis and documenting complex, business-critical database workflows.
  • Leading incident analysis and providing corrective action recommendations.
  • Developing and implementing database alerting and monitoring solutions.
  • Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure as part of our database product offerings.
  • Owning the full DevOps lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and monitor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep experience in database engineering and automation.
  • Strong experience with AWS and services like CFN, SSM, and container technologies.
  • Deep expertise in MS SQL administration, including HA, backup/restore, security, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level production databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Advanced English
