Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in embedded software verification, preferably from the automotive industry
  • SW knowledge – Understanding the basic principles and processes for how software is developed, integrated, verified and deployed
  • Experience with HIL testing and vehicle testing is a plus
  • International and multi-cultural experience with a global organization is a plus
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Power BI and requirement tools is a plus
  • Good knowledge of software programming languages like C, C++, C# and Python is a plus
  • Truck knowledge – Understanding how different systems in a truck interact and work together is a plus
  • Knowledge of LIN, CAN, and Ethernet communication is a plus
  • Experience with Vector toolchain and especially CANalyzer and CANoe is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers working on Product Lead and Product Integration (Vehicle Software Factory) at Vehicle Technology Curitiba
  • Lead system integration plan and align with the vehicle product roadmaps
  • Drive and align software development team deliveries to ensure timely functionality
  • Drive and execute the test needs to secure the product quality along with the Product Test team
  • Consolidate, judge, present and recommend product status to Release board and reference groups
  • Manage software product configurations for diverse product lines
  • Lead creation and maintaining software system baselines for assigned product classes, according to agreed time plan with quality and legal fulfilment
  • Drive actions towards release decision and documentation in the shape of release notes, verification results, sub-stream validation and justification to Release Board
  • Support engineers across sites, foster growth, build capabilities, and recruit new talent
  • Set direction, remove obstacles, deliver results on time and budget, and promote continuous improvement
  • Take responsibility for systems and components, align work with business goals, and lead roadmap execution
  • Work across functions to support projects, improve operations, and strengthen cross-team efficiency
  • Report to the Director of Vehicle Technology Curitiba and operationally to Global Technology Managers in VT stream Vehicle Software Factory
  • Work together with the Global team of group managers within Product Integration and Product Lead, Release and Metrics as one team with common backlogs, processes and priorities
