Head of Property & Casualty Facultative BrazilJoin us for an exceptional opportunity as Head of P&C Facultative Brazil in our P&C Reinsurance team This position offers the chance to lead and transform our property facultative business in one of Latin America's most dynamic markets. About the Role: In this strategic role, you will be the underwriting and sales leader for the P&C Facultative business in Brazil, with full P&L responsibility and ownership of client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the P&C Facultative underwriting strategy for the Brazilian and South Cone markets; Drive origination of profitable business while maintaining underwriting quality and preserving portfolio value; Develop solutions corresponding to client needs and promote innovation through new business solutions and products; Implement initiatives for sales and underwriting to position Swiss Re in the Brazilian & South Cone markets; Supervise and steer the P&C Facultative portfolio in Brazil & South Cone; Lead and empower the local team, promoting professional development; Collaborate across business units and functions to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. About the Team: We are a client-centric and results-oriented team with underwriting and origination roles, where drive, collaboration, and passion are key pillars. We are well embedded in and part of Swiss Re's landscape of cross-functional teams serving clients and markets in an entrepreneurial and comprehensive fashion. About You: We are looking for a leader with a real passion for developing teams, who promotes teamwork and cooperation across business units, countries, and functions Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in Property and Casualty re/insurance underwriting, including excellent understanding of the Brazilian and South Cone markets, products, and trends; Knowledge of the Brazilian insurance regulatory environment; Track record as a successful sales leader and dealmaker in originating new business; Management skills in developing people, being a motivational mentor who can unlock potential in others; Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English, additional languages appreciated.
