Manage average size projects with more software, more services and more sustainability (Category B project) or workpackage of bigger size project (Category A project) and reports to Senior Project Manager.


Can manage project in back-office mode. He follows applicable company policies and processes (main one being CPP: Customer Project Process).


Lead functionally the project team.


Manage the relationship with the customer and third parties within project scope and accountable for the execution of the project in line with the contract.


Contribute to project managers community of practice.


Responsibilities:
  1. Set an execution strategy at the start of the project and implement it throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Organize & manage the project team and suppliers. Monitor their progress in line with Project plan (scope, schedule and budget) till completion.
  3. Protect Schneider Electric interests within the frame of the contract until the end of contractual obligations.
  4. Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, risk escalation reviews...).
  5. Alert the management about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles and keep the leadership on the actions related to them.
  6. Perform on regular basis risk and opportunity assessment and implement action plan to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities.
  7. Drive all communication with customer. Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project to prepare ground for future business.
  8. Take full accountability and control over project profitability (sales, margin & cash) including forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast. Implement profitability improvement actions. Satisfy entity and country expectations on sales, margin and cash collection.
  9. Ensure project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes, quality instructions and governance principles. Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution.
  10. Participate to PM Community of Practice within his Execution Center and globally within Execution Center network. Identify, formalize, share and promote lessons learned and best practices.
  11. Strong monitoring of HSE policy to all team members and sub-contractors especially for site activities and travels.
  12. Manage Cybersecurity risk and actions linked to cybersecurity with all team members (cyberbadge) and suppliers/service providers/sub-contractors.

Qualifications:
  1. University Degree (Protection and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
  2. University Master Degree (plus)
  3. PMP - PMI
  4. Solid experience in managing a cat-B/C project or sub-project
  5. Experience in managing equipment or transactional orders
  6. Experience in PMO position (plus)
  7. English fluency (mandatory)
  8. Another language (plus)
  9. Good communication skills
  10. Strong knowledge of PMO tools (MS project for schedule, ACONEX for document control...) and PMI process
  11. Good knowledge on ERP for financial controlling
  12. Good digital background, awareness of ecostruxure tailored solution to customer and able to act as best sales agent.
  13. At ease with new integrated digital tools for better work efficiency
  14. Availability to come to the Schneider office when requested.
  15. Travel to the field when needs are detected in projects.
