About the team

The team maintains risk controls at Trustly, develops machine learning models and data analyses to mitigate risk, and builds a framework and infrastructure to manage risk and create long-term differentiation and value for Trustly.

What you\'ll do
  • Develop new state-of-the-art AI/machine learning models to support risk strategies;
  • Recommend data-driven, risk-based business decisions to positively impact KPIs across Trustly\'s payment portfolio;
  • Conduct analyses to measure model performance, compare models, and influence model strategy and selection;
  • Collaborate with ML Engineers to deploy AI/ML models in Trustly\'s decision engine;
  • Explore raw source data, perform feature research and engineering to support decision capabilities;
  • Support development and maintenance of risk modeling infrastructure, working with ML Engineers and ML Ops;
  • Develop data- and business-driven risk prevention rules and strategies;
  • Monitor risk and decision trends and performances, providing ongoing optimization adjustments as needed.
Who you are
  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, data science or a related field;
  • Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning and AI;
  • Experience developing statistical/machine learning/AI models and experiments;
  • Advanced skills in Python and SQL; Spark and JavaScript are a plus;
  • Understanding of feature engineering and the model development life cycle;
  • Solid English communication skills for collaboration with English-speaking stakeholders;
  • Risk experience in financial services or fintechs is a plus.
