JOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commissioning of test solutions, executing the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process.
  2. Provides deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
  3. Assists in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling as required to meet customer expectations.
  4. Provides comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented, acting as the interface to the Test Support function.
  5. Coordinates with Manufacturing to ensure proper documentation and training for all test operations.
  6. Monitors and contributes to the improvement of Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies, and Uptime, providing accurate reporting and clear targets for improvement.
  7. Works with the Test Engineer to upgrade the test process, balancing cost, coverage, and efficiency.
  8. Coordinates the timetable for test readiness based on weekly production schedules, working closely with manufacturing and test support.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Effective communication skills with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Problem-solving skills, including data collection and analysis.
  • Proficiency in PC operation, Windows OS, and related software, including Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write basic correspondence and understand visual aids.
  • Ability to follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting graphs.
