Control Risks specializes in supporting clients with rapidly-growing global operations. We enable clients to succeed in the most complex and even hostile environments, securing staff, information, and other assets in locations across the US and globally.
Our team is looking to bring on an Intelligence Analyst to support a global client in Brazil. The Intelligence Analyst will coordinate directly with the Client's security stakeholders to enhance the identification and coordination—as well as the overall response to—real-time and future risks that may impact the Client's operations or personnel on a global or site-specific basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and analyze global events to identify and assess threats to client’s specific global operations, assets, and personnel
- Define priorities for in-depth analysis of selected locations relevant to client’s global interests
- Lead or collaborate on production of in-depth analytical products and requests for information (RFIs) for broad stakeholder audiences
- Monitor social media on a regular basis for threats and security-related intelligence regarding risks to client
- Lead production of specific briefings or presentations
- Provide location-specific intelligence, including active and archived alerts; city and country intelligence; and interactive maps
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Prior related global risk and threat analysis experience in a professional environment required
- Experience with vendor and electronic workflow platforms
- Advanced experience in collection and analytical methodologies
- Expert user and/or demonstrated comfort with GIS mapping technologiesKeen understanding of social media monitoring techniques
- A strong understanding of data analytics and the importance of using data to support key security-related decision making
- Proficiency in client workplace product suite; ability to present information in a graphic format and prepare concise reports
- Excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills
- English and Portuguese is a must
