Job Overview We're seeking a seasoned backend engineer to drive the development of our ML/LLM features. Main duties involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing and maintaining scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI. Responsible for database management and optimization for application storage. Focused on improving observability and reliability through structured logging, metrics, retry/backoff strategies, and traces. Promote high code quality and reliability by maintaining unit and integration tests. Enhance local development experience by establishing and promoting Python-based development standards. Integrate LLM APIs using OpenAI and agentic frameworks. Key responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems Collaborating with data scientists and engineers Optimizing databases and implementing best practices Improving observability and reliability Maintaining and promoting testing standards Establishing and promoting Python-based development standards Integrating LLM APIs Requirements Strong understanding of software development principles and patterns Experience with Python and FastAPI Knowledge of database management and optimization Skills in observability and reliability improvement Ability to promote high code quality and maintain unit and integration tests Understanding of Python-based development standards Experience with integrating LLM APIs Bonus Points A competitive salary is offered to the ideal candidate.
