Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, operations or similar graduate degree;

Amazon's Dangerous Goods team is looking for Program Managers to plan and execute dangerous goods compliance projects and maintain operational performance in Brazil.
The Dangerous Goods (DG) Program Manager will ensure DG products meet applicable local and global regulatory requirements, strategize with internal stakeholders to support business expansion, develop best-in-class standard operational processes, improve them and provide support to stakeholders during the implementation phase.
Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will need to Think Big and Invent & Simplify to build mechanisms to scale the team's resources. Working within the broader Amazon compliance organization, she/he will identify opportunities to leverage technology to build and improve upon a best-in-class systems for DG transportation and classification.
A day in the life
- This individual will work closely with numerous internal partner teams, including: Amazon Fulfillment Technology, Transportation, Catalog, Classification, Legal, External Fulfillment and our operations teams.
- The Program Manager will demonstrate excellent judgment and instincts in decision-making, and proactively and continually improve their level of knowledge of Amazon's businesses, fulfillment models, and relevant technologies.

- MBA or related advanced degree.
- Knowledge of data warehouse and SQL is a strong plus
- Previous experience in an e-commerce environment or other fast-paced, technology driven businesses a plus;
- Experience working in Dangerous Goods and/or compliance organization;
- A strong drive for results and the ability to work in ambiguous situations and loosely structured environments.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
