Marketing Generalist / Growth Marketing Manager Join Relay Commerce as a Marketing Generalist / Growth Marketing Manager Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr About The Company Relay Commerce builds software solutions to help merchants scale e‑commerce and simplify their marketing tech stack. Powered by a centralized customer data platform, Relay’s suite of tools automates key revenue‑generation workflows to drive organic growth and increased profitability. The ecosystem consists of eight products that accelerate merchant revenue through email marketing automation, user‑generated content management, on‑page conversion optimization, retention analytics, subscription management and social commerce. The products support over 35,000 customers worldwide, generating >$1 BN in GMV annually. About The Product Flockler is a social media aggregator platform that lets marketers display authentic social‑media feeds on websites and digital screens. By showcasing UGC from Instagram, TikTok, X, BlueSky and LinkedIn, Flockler drives engagement, builds trust and boosts conversions through authentic storytelling. About The Role As Growth Marketing Manager, you own Flockler’s marketing engine from strategy to execution, lead a small team and manage agency partnerships. You’ll work closely with two other marketing professionals and external agencies. You’ll also be the HubSpot owner, responsible for optimizing automation, lead management and reporting infrastructure. Partner with customer success, account management and engineering to build and execute GTM plays, manage marketing operations and drive pipeline growth. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Mentor a team of 1–2 marketing professionals (SEO & content creation), providing guidance and feedback. Delegate work effectively, setting clear priorities for colleagues. Build a high‑performing marketing function with clear processes and accountability. Agency & Vendor Management Own relationships with external agencies, including Webflow development and paid‑advertising partners. Set clear expectations, deliverables and timelines. Evaluate agency performance, provide feedback and make partnership recommendations. Manage agency budgets and ensure ROI on all external spend. Coordinate between internal team and agencies to ensure seamless execution. HubSpot Administration & Marketing Automation Serve as the primary HubSpot administrator and strategist. Build and optimize email workflows, lead‑scoring models and nurture campaigns. Manage list segmentation, contact properties and data hygiene. Create dashboards and reports to track marketing performance. Implement attribution and ensure proper tracking across campaigns. Train team members on HubSpot best practices and optimization. Event Planning & Execution Research industry events, conferences and webinars that maximize impact. Coordinate booth design, collateral, demos and promotional materials. Support the General Manager with presentation preparation and event strategy. Execute post‑event campaigns, lead nurturing, follow‑up sequences and performance analysis. Track event ROI and use insights to inform future event strategy. Marketing Operations & Project Management Run the weekly marketing meeting, setting priorities and driving accountability. Oversee and prioritize the marketing roadmap, ensuring timely execution. Own design requirements and coordinate with internal teams and agencies. Track marketing spend and ROI in collaboration with the General Manager. Go‑To‑Market Execution Lead planning and execution of product launches, feature releases and campaigns. Develop positioning and messaging for new features and use cases. Create launch assets including landing pages, email campaigns, sales enablement materials and case studies. Partner with Customer Success and Account Management to identify expansion and upsell opportunities. Website & Content Optimization Own the marketing website (Webflow), ensuring content, UX and messaging are optimized for conversions. Collaborate with SEO partners to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic. Test and refine messaging, CTAs and landing pages to improve engagement and lead capture rates. Manage content calendar and coordinate blog posts, case studies and resource creation. Campaign Management & Lead Generation Build and execute multi‑channel campaigns (email, paid, content) to drive MQLs and pipeline. Develop automated email workflows for different funnel stages. Work with paid advertising partners to optimize campaigns and improve CAC/LTV metrics. Implement attribution tracking to measure campaign impact across channels. Performance Tracking & Reporting Set, monitor and report on key metrics such as MQLs, pipeline contribution, website conversion rates and campaign ROI. Use insights from Google Analytics, HubSpot and other tools to iterate and improve performance. Present marketing performance updates to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience managing and developing marketing team members. Proven track record managing multiple external agencies and vendors. 1+ years hands‑on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub (workflow automation, lead scoring, email marketing, reporting). HubSpot certification preferred. 5+ years in product marketing, growth marketing or digital marketing roles (preferably B2B SaaS or martech). Event marketing experience with measurable pipeline impact. Project management skills: manage multiple initiatives concurrently. Technical proficiency with Webflow (or similar CMS), Google Analytics and project management tools. Analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Go‑to‑market experience launching products or features. Outbound marketing experience with cold email sequences, paid acquisition channels or direct outreach that generated measurable pipeline. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and scaling a marketing function from 0 to 1. Familiarity with social media marketing, UGC or martech industry trends. Understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and pipeline metrics. Event logistics experience (trade show, booth management, sponsorships). Knowledge of marketing tech stack integrations and data flows. “Get stuff done” attitude – ownership, initiative and motivation. Comfort with fast‑paced, startup or growth‑stage environments. Strong work ethic, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, proactive. What Success Looks Like Build and lead a high‑performing marketing team that consistently delivers results. Establish productive agency partnerships with clear KPIs and strong ROI. Optimize HubSpot to improve lead quality, conversion rates and attribution. Develop a strategic event calendar that drives qualified pipeline and brand awareness. Consistently grow MQLs and pipeline through optimized campaigns, events and website performance. Launch 4–6 Go‑to‑Market plays per year with measurable impact on product adoption. Build a well‑oiled marketing operations system with clear processes, accountability and metrics. Improve marketing efficiency via better team management, agency coordination, attribution tracking and budget allocation. Develop Flockler’s brand authority and thought leadership in the social commerce and UGC space. Location United States and Brazil: 100% remote, hybrid schedule within 9–12 months. Candidates must be based in Florianópolis (Brazil), Denver, CO or Philadelphia, PA. Hybrid will involve in‑person collaboration 2–3 times per week. Canada (Calgary): Remote with in‑person collaboration with Calgary‑based team members multiple times per month from a co‑working space.
