Full-Stack Developer – Java + Apache Camel - Contractor - Remote

Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, database management, and skills in web services and cloud solutions. If you're passionate about SaaS platforms, this is the opportunity for you.

Start date : October 2025

Contract type : Contractor, Indefinite

Work hours : 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above.
  • Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities and follow standard security practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-geographical teams including developers, testers, and product managers.
  • Contribute to improving the team's quality, efficiency, and capabilities.
  • Follow and contribute to the team's processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.
What You Need to Succeed Must-haves
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant Java/Spring applications (Version 11+).
  • Experience working with Spring Boot is required.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice-to-haves
  • Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration (routing, error handling, split-aggregate, dynamic routing).
  • Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, REST API).
  • Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications.
