Treasury Capital Markets and Operations Manager

**Job Description**:The Capital Markets and Operations Manager is responsible for all activities related to cash management, bank/asset management houses´ relationships, capital markets transactions, funding transactions implementation, financial investments execution and investment strategies definition for pension plans within the GM South America Treasury organization.The role requires strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, the ability to optimize a range of inputs and scenarios to support effective decision-making, and the capacity to create strong partnerships with a broad range of functions throughout the organization.Will lead following activities:- Execution of capital markets transactions, including financial investments, funding, FX- Ensure proper sovereign and counterparty risk management & funds allocation across multiple markets and legal entities within South America and beyond, with absolute attention to Compliance requirements- Manage relationship with multiple banks and asset management houses- Support definition and implementation of investment policies for Brazil´s pension fund- Steer multiple strategic initiatives and special projects, supporting business functions and providing guidance as required**Additional Job Description**:Required qualifications:- Graduated in Business fields. Ideally post-graduated/chartered (Specialization, Post-Graduate Diploma, MBA, MSc, CFA, etc.)- Significant prior/ongoing experience on capital markets transactions and pensions/investment management, with knowledge on related regulatory aspects is a must- Strong team leadership skills - will lead a diverse group of talents- Strong communication skills, fluent English and Portuguese. Proficiency in Spanish is desired.- Strong problem-solving & project management skills- Strong tech skills, particularly on Excel & Office tools.
