About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact healthcare operations.

We're seeking an experienced AI expert to join our team and develop mission-critical systems that power healthcare interoperability for over 60 clinics and health systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating LLMs and AI services into production systems, ensuring safety, observability, performance, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly scalable and performant services and applications.
  • Integrate AI models with attention to safety, observability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Build abstractions, APIs, and internal tooling to support AI adoption.
  • Continuously improve codebase and test coverage through refactoring, automated testing, and strong developer productivity practices.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and their fit for our products.
  • Mentor and support other engineers in setting coding standards and architectural practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design AI-enabled product experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, AI development, or a related field.

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
