Key Tax Position Responsibilities We are dedicated to ensuring tax compliance with both local and international laws, thereby optimizing our tax position. Our team is comprised of experts who handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management while working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies. Manage direct and indirect taxes, ensuring we stay up-to-date with the latest legislation and minimize our tax burden. Prepare and submit all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc. Monitor tax compliance processes and collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams to meet our tax obligations. Handle federal, state, and municipal tax audits, coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities. Stay abreast of changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications For this role, we seek a professional with: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law; advanced degree or CPA certification preferred. Solid experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning; Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits; Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders; Languages: Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).
