Salesforce senior developer technical architect

OverviewSalesforce Developer role focusing on enterprise Salesforce solutions, integration, security, scalability, and long-term architecture. Role requires collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and adherence to Empower’s security standards. ResponsibilitiesLead the technical aspects of designing, developing, testing, and implementing highly scalable Salesforce solutions. Develop and configure advanced functionality across all enterprise Salesforce clouds using Visualforce, Apex, Process Builder, Workflow rules, Validation Rules, and Advanced Formulas. Support cross-system integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem and with other cloud technologies such as AWS. Collaborate with other software developers and architects to improve development processes and code quality. Respond to evolving security conditions and apply Empower’s security controls in design and implementation. Improve application resiliency through better design and coding practices. Develop technical perspectives, standards, solutions, and strategies that add value to the customer experience while reducing technical complexity. Generate innovative ideas, prototypes, and proof of concepts; design solutions with long-term Salesforce architecture in mind. Document solution designs clearly to enable delivery teams to size and implement work. Promote best practices, provide coaching, and stay current with new technologies. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understand and work with integration frameworks, REST & SOAP APIs, and data mappings. Work with Salesforce OOTB functionalities, including sharing settings, limits, profiles, permission sets, flows, and validation rules. Work with SOQL/SOSL/Data Loader and cultivate best practices for Salesforce development and governor limits. Experience with identity management, connected apps, and related algorithms; familiarity with middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, Informatica, MuleSoft). Experience with code repositories (GitHub, Visual Studio, SVN) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, FloSm, AutoRABBIT) beyond traditional change sets. Qualifications8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented programming (Java, Python) and Software Development for Enterprise Systems. Salesforce implementation and development experience with enterprise-scale projects. Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Field Service Lightning (FSL). Strong background in architecture and development of SF solutions (Salesforce Classic, Lightning, Visualforce, Apex, Java services). Experience with integration frameworks and REST/SOAP API based integrations. Strong understanding of Salesforce security and governance, including OWD, sharing settings, and permissions. Experience with data migration, data mapping, and use of data tools (SOQL, SOSL, Data Loader). Excellent English language communication skills. Certified Salesforce roles and related certifications are highly desirable (see below).
