Overview

As a Contracts Manager within the IQVIA US Contracting Center (USCC), you will review, draft and/or redline contracts within the U.S. business unit with a focus on IQVIA's commercial services (data, analysis services, consulting, technology).

Main responsibilities

  1. Draft and review legal and business terms under the guidance of the contract’s playbook, as well as attorney support, as needed.
  2. Independently manage high volume legal reviews of contracts for all contract sizes (large complex contracts and small standard) with minimal guidance and in accordance with expected turnaround times.
  3. Develop broad knowledge of the IQVIA US Business Line and each service line and their respective products/services through the review and preparation of agreements, as well as formal and informal learning opportunities.
  4. Communicate/articulate concerns to appropriate USCC and business representatives.
  5. Leverage business experience utilizing business acumen to identify solutions to address client concerns while aligning to IQVIA business objectives.
  6. Identify and assist in the implementation/communication of contracting efficiencies, as appropriate, and often with collaboration from other departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  2. 3-5 years drafting/reviewing/redlining/negotiating contracts preferably within a corporate legal department or contracts administration department or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  3. Fluent English skill.
  4. Comfort and experience with legal terminology.
  5. Strong project management expertise combined with excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  6. Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers.
  8. Experience with a contracts lifecycle management system like CONGA, Ironclad, Agiloft is a plus.
