**This is us, your new colleagues**
Group Truck Purchasing South America is looking for a temporary Buyer to be located in Curitiba, Brazil, within our Cab and Uptime team in LATAM.
You will have near colleagues working spread across the world and work in different networks, teams and groups. You will be part of the Cab team, daily work in a dynamic and integrated team.
Cab & Uptime team aim building strong purchasing synergies amongst the various Purchasing organizations of Volvo Group.
**This is your mission**
You will be leading the purchasing activities (related to Cab parts) on your scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction.
That means that you will secure delivery of the projects you will lead within more challenging planning than regular production vehicle project; scout and seek for the best suppliers plus bring creative and innovative solutions. You will have the challenge, source and create the ad hoc supplier base **. **You will also lead the negotiations and in order to secure the best QDCF-TSR performance and perform purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.

- Business acumen
- University degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- Experience in Purchasing and/or negotiation experience in a supplier/customer relationship
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Positive attitude, service minded and target oriented approach
- Strong team player mindset
- Multicultural experience is an asset
- Automotive experience is a plus Willingness to travel occasionally
