Who will you be working with?
The Integration department is responsible for providing requirements for all departments involved in the planning, development and maintenance of the PTC solutions provided by Wabtec to ensure quality, compatibility, and proper documentation.
How will you make a difference?
As part of the Integration department, your role will be to consolidate system requirements based on the information gathered from the clients and development teams. Improve and implement solutions in the software architecture. Prepare the necessary artifacts for the correct documentation of integrated tests aiming to validate the software architecture proposed. Analyze bugs and defects to identify possible causes and instruct the development teams to find fixes. Oversee and support product deployment and maintenance.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electro-eletronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, computer engineering, automation and control engineering.
- Advanced English communicating skills;
- Intermediate Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio);
- Experience writing system requirements;
- Experience creating test cases;
- Knowledge in programming languages;
- Knowledge in elaboration of work effort estimates;
- Knowledge elaborating technical specification documents;
What will your typical day look like?
- Elaborate system requirements documents;
- Analyze bugs and defects and propose solutions to improve the product;
- Elaborate work estimates;
- Elaborate technical specification documents;
- Support planning, supervision and control of the activities within the scope of the integration department;
- Automate processes to streamline work in the scope of the Integration department;
- Communicate results to leadership;
