Position Overview:

As a Business and People Consulting Trainee at Mercer, you will participate in a comprehensive development program designed to build your expertise in business, management, and people advisory services. You will work closely with experienced consultants to deliver innovative solutions that enhance organizational performance and talent management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support senior consultants in research, data analysis, and client assessments.
  2. Assist in developing and delivering client presentations, reports, and proposals.
  3. Participate in project planning and execution related to talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  4. Gain exposure to Mercer's consulting methodologies and tools.
  5. Contribute to the development of thought leadership and best practices in people management.
  6. Engage in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to develop consulting skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree (expected completion 2023, 2024, or 2025) in business administration, engineering, economics, finance, physics, mathematics, or related fields.
  2. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proficiency in presentation design & storytelling, including structuring compelling narratives and creating visually engaging presentations using tools like PowerPoint.
  4. Basic knowledge of data ETL processes and data visualization tools such as Excel, KNIME, Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
  5. Ability to interpret, synthesize, and communicate complex information through visualizations and narratives.
  6. Interest in management consulting, organizational development, human capital, digital transformation, and business strategy.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
