Senior Subsea Engineer

to work with one of our main clients in the Oil and Gas sector at their Rio de Janeiro office.Responsabilities:Be responsible for all SUBSEA assets management, including all phases technical review and providing clarification or recommendations.Attend the project consortium meetings and add recommendations and/or suggestions when applicable.Be responsible for collecting and analyzing all the weekly implementation reports, monthly reports and other technical document provided by the Operator.Elaborate, keep, and update a technical standards database, related to SUBSEA engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, intervention, maintenance, and de-commissioning.Provide technical support and clarification regarding SUBSEA EPCI issues based on regular releases from the Operator.Provide technical support for SUBSEA budget evaluations based on Work Budget Plan (WPB)/ Billing Statement/ Approval for Expenditure (AFE).Present OE Department achievements and the project key points during internal management meetings.Attend congresses, seminars and external trainings aiming to capture good ideas and practices applicable to future projects.Arrange technical meetings with SUBSEA engineering solutions providers.Issue manuals, guidelines and reports related to the SUBSEA discipline.Participate in case-by-case negotiations, and discussions with partners or interested parties for SUBSEA technical matters.Other tasks assigned by the Director.

Requirements:Degree in offshore engineering disciplines (mechanics, material, structure and etc.)Work experience 5 years in SUBSEA disciplineFluent in EnglishDeep Knowledge of SUBSEA disciplineBe familiar with the international (API and/or DNVGL) and local standards, requirements, and guidelines etc.Previous experience from E&P upstream company is an advantageExcellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.Others: Punctuality; Proactivity; Discretion; Cordiality; Reliability and Good communication
