SAP AMS Project Manager Job Description The SAP Application Management Services (AMS) Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of SAP services across multiple modules and business areas. This position oversees incident, problem, change, and enhancement management, guaranteeing compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), high-quality service delivery, and alignment with business objectives. Manage day-to-day SAP AMS operations, including incident, problem, change, and service request management. Oversee delivery of SAP enhancements, small projects, and rollouts within agreed timelines and budgets. Ensure SLAs, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service quality targets are consistently achieved. Coordinate with SAP Basis, Functional, and Technical teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications To excel as an SAP AMS Project Manager, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in SAP project/AMS management. Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and integration points. Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management). Proven track record in managing global/onshore-offshore delivery models.
