Job Title: Cloud Database Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative database solutions using cloud technologies such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Database Solutions : Utilize cutting-edge technologies to build and innovate database infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Performance Analysis and Tuning : Perform in-depth analysis and tuning of MS SQL environments to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
  • Automation and Streamlining : Automate and streamline database management processes using scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
  • Incident Analysis and Resolution : Lead incident analysis and provide corrective action recommendations to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep experience in database engineering and automation.
  • Strong experience with AWS and services like CFN, SSM, and container technologies.
  • Expertise in MS SQL administration, including HA, backup/restore, security, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level production databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
