About the role

Entrupy is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is excited about automating manual processes and can lead complex projects. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for improving and automating the processes and workflows that can have a significant business impact by increasing authentication team efficiency and accuracy. You will need to have a strong understanding of both back-end and front-end development, as well as a willingness to learn new technologies quickly. In addition, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team that is spread across different time zones.

• Internal dashboards and customer support tools
• Policy tracking and change management systems
• Custom search systems and data investigation tools
• Interfaces to explain machine learning and expert system output
• Account management systems
• Data annotation tools
• Internal training platforms

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Location: Remote - Latin America / Europe

What You'll Do

• Develop systems that follow modern design principles and are implemented using secure, flexible & scalable methodologies, promote a streamlined, collaborative environment & use efficient workflows while keeping focus on a positive user experience
• Contribute reliable code across all phases of the development lifecycle, collaborating on product specifications and operational feasibility
• Come up with ideas for projects to clean up technical debt and make it easier to develop in our codebases
• Champion a balance between following good coding practices and delivering value for our customers quickly
• Produce well-tested, extensible code that stands up to existing and future load requirements
• Share your expertise in a thoughtful, no-ego way with all members of the team, coaching team members when needed
• Shepherd your contributions through peer review, testing, deployment, and finally monitoring in production

Who you are

• Generalist with experience in web apps, backend services, and databases.
• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Solid working knowledge of Python, and experience using it in backend services using Flask/Django/FastAPI or similar web framework.
• Experience with building front-end websites or tools using modern SPA frameworks like Vue/React.
• Experience with databases (Postgres, NoSQL, etc.)
• Experience working as the lead on various technical projects.
• Prior experience working in a startup-like environment
